We?re doing our bit to save planet Earth
Pupils from four Brighouse primary schools joined forces to discuss making the world a better place.

The exercise was part of the Earth Summit organised by Brighouse High School as part of a transition day to help the students become familiar with their new surroundings when they start in September and also to meet their fellow pupils.

As part of the exercise the children took part in four workshops which concentrated on four different countries where they learnt new skills such as making face masks and learning how to Morris dance each taken by a teacher from one of the four schools.

After the workshops the 170 students had to think of a question which was put to a panel of members to answer. The questions revolved around the pupils hopes and fears about what changes they could do to make a better future.
