Accommodation levels in Rio de Janeiro are anticipated to be at full occupancy during the conference. While it is not the responsibility of the United Nations to procure accommodation for the media, it should be noted that the Brazilian national organizing committee for Rio+20 has committed to blocking a minimum of 500 hotel rooms in Rio de Janeiro for media covering the conference. Share your initiatives in support of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20
If you are launching initiatives, campaigns, petitions, or hosting meetings in preparation for Rio+20, let the world know. Contact your Major Groups Organizing Partners so they can list your initiatives online.

If your initiative does not fit neatly in the major groups categories (it's multistakeholder or a different type of groups), sign in to the Rio+20 Conference website and share your initiatives in support of the Conference to be held 20-22 June, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
