The meeting will be hosted by New Zealand Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management. The Pacific Platform for Disaster Risk Management 2011 is an opportunity for Pacific island countries and territories to share experiences and knowledge in building the resilience of their island communities to disasters.
