IntroductionEnergy is one of the main issues to be discussed in the UN Conference for Sustainable Development. The share of energy resources for the sustainable development, mainly the renewable, is the central subject for discussion.
Present the Energy Policy and its contribution for the sustainable development.
? The evolution of the renewable sources in the energy matrix: hydro, wind, biomass and biofuels.
? The experience of success of the renewable energy actions.
? The socioeconomic and environmental benefits of sustainable development model of the Brazilian energy sector.
? The energy efficiency contribution.
The event will be conceptual, as a lecture (45 minutes) and discussion with the participants (45 minutes) at the end of the presentation.
