Green Dreams Around the World Campaign
Dreams of 20 seconds to 1 minute are recorded with smart phones and cameras and uploaded in a Youtube Channel and website. They are organized in 14 thematic areas and compose a virtual gallery of dreams. The intersection of green dreams will converge in networks formed from people who share the same vision of the future. These networks possess a strong potential for transformation, because they are powered by a 100% positive charge.
Inspired by the project ?Dream: IN?, held in India last February the campaign was commissioned by UNITAR and launched during the International Innovative Cities Conference in May 2011 by CIFAL Curitiba and the Federation of Industries of Parana. Since then Brazilian ?dream catchers? collected statements on video in urban communities of neighbouring towns of Curitiba resulting in 800 green dreams. The campaign was recently launched in UK where politicians, sports stars, musicians and celebrities will be among those invited to record their thoughts on the sustainability future, along with schools, youth groups, charities, pensioner groups and trade unions.
