Achievement of Commitment
The protection of biodiversity and ecosystems will be enhanced within Deutsche Post DHL's global environmental protection program, GoGreen, and within the company's operations.
How this will be achieved
Deutsche Post DHL will join the ‘Biodiversity in Good Company’ Initiative in June 2012 to strengthen its biodiversity efforts by working with and learning from the Initiative’s member companies. Deutsche Post DHL also plans on conducting an analysis of its impacts on biodiversity and ecosystems, raising awareness of biodiversity amongst its around 470,000 employees, encouraging employees to take action to promote biodiversity, and implementing measures to enhance biodiversity in its operations and at its facilities.
