Introduction

Leadership in Africa have globally been identified as one of the major crisis in Africa starting from selection, election processes And sustainability of the elected position And responsibilities. This derails major national, regional AND GLOBALL DEVELOPMENTS IN Africa. African Children Talent Discovery Foundation and World Mission Foundation an NGO in Special Consultative Status wit ECOSOC at the United Nations in taking steps to further their collaborative mission considers its significant need to bring the issues to Rio+20. The underlying purpose is to seek for diverse value based leadership skills that could be provided to youths of Africa in understanding the import of sustainable leadership for global, regional and national development of Africa.

Detailed programme

The thematic focus on this event is on youths and sustainable leaderships for Africa. This is rooted on the MDGs and the significant mission of African Children talent Discovery Foundation and World Mission Foundation to contribute to the MDGs successes by 201 and beyond.
Youths of Africa are the future leaders of Africa nations and they need to be provided with adequate value based leadership Skills and qualities that could enable sustainable Development in Africa.

Speakers to this event will be selected from people who are in government as well as global leadership positions with acquired leadership experiences that could enable awareness on the existing leadership gaps in Africa.
The event will provide the following contribution to the outcome of CSDRio+20;
1. Provide grassroots and communal leadership empowerment programs to youths of Africa
2.Educate Africa youths on RIO+20 UN resolutions for Sustainable Development
3. Provide UN-Rio+20 curriculum that could be advocated for leadership education on African youths
4. Develop regional Value Based leadership policy that could be adopted by Africa Nations for Sustainable Leadership and development
5.Advocate to African leaders on the outcome of UNCSDRio+20 on significant need to empower the youths of Africa on Sustainability and development of Africa.
6. Through the outcome of Rio+20 2012, African Youths will be empowered to address new and emerging challenges and be able to balance the needs of present generation to those of the future.
With the adoption of Agenda 21 and the recognition by World Leaders of the vital role that could be played by Youths, African Children Talent Discovery Foundation and World Mission Foundation considers Africa Youth as a major stakeholder to the global development of Africa with positive regards to Sustainability and value b4554ased leadership
