Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata is an autonomous institution whose central theme is to integrate education with research so that undergraduate teaching as well as doctoral and postdoctoral research work could be carried out in symbiosis. Each year ISSER organizes Inquivesta - a one-of-a-kind science fest which emphasizes on fostering the jewel of basic science by inspiring creativity and originality.

Inquivesta 2012 has kindly chosen Indian Astrobiology Research Centre (IARC) as its Cause Partner in support of the Rio Earth Summit 2012 ? India Program ? to promote the objectives of UNCSD 2012.

Inquivesta 2012 volunteers will spread awareness amongst the thousands of visitors about the Rio Earth Summit 2012 ? India Program (treks, films, study programs and workshops) and UNCSD 2012 objectives through flyers and videos.
