Pace University, New York,
Sunday 18 March 10am-3:30pm (EST)
Building on the success of the first Dialogue in October, 2011, this second Dialogue in the series, coinciding with the March ?informal? negotiations and the third intersessional meeting of the UNCSD conference secretariat, is an opportunity for policy makers, international and local NGOs, academics, and practitioners to come together to engage in open discussions to develop practical, implementable solutions that will facilitate a global transition to the new economy.
As we move towards Rio +20, the outcome of this dialogue will catalyse, ongoing partnerships and ?coalitions of the willing? who intend to play a significant role in the implementation of policy and action which supports the global transition.
In order to achieve this objective, participants will engage in a series of roundtable discussions that focus on the key themes as outlined above.
