19 Apr 2012 - UNITAR and UNEP Launch E-learning Course on Green Economy
Green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication will be one of the main themes for the upcoming 2012 UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) taking place from 20-22 June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As countries are showing increasing attention to new patterns of development, UNITAR and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) have recently announced a new e-learning course entitled ?Introduction to a Green Economy: Concepts, Principles and Applications?, that will take place from 14 May to 22 June 2012.

UNITAR and its CIFAL Network are launching the Green Dreams Around the World campaign to give voice to dreams of thousands of individuals as a contribution to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20.
